  • Have you received funding?

    We run OpenRent at a profit, but also have backing from some of the largest VCs in the world. As such, we have an extremely solid foundation to build from.

  • What will I be working on?

    In a broad sense, whatever is best for our users - but the direction comes from our developers and core team. From utilising our massive data set and machine learning to improve the experience on site, to building a greenfield solution for a new product, or simply iterating our current product - we're building a scalable, lovable platform for millions of people.

  • Do you offer remote working?

    We currently have a hybrid office policy with 2 set office days per week (Tuesday and Thursday). We encourage new starters to be office based for their initial training and onboarding period so they can be supported by fellow team members.

  • How quick is the application & hiring process?

    Once you have submitted your CV and cover letter, if successful, we will aim to get back to you within 1 week for an introductory call, which is usually followed by an in person interview at our office in Brixton. This varies depending on role but we try to keep interview processes as straightforward as possible!

  • What’s OpenRent’s company culture like?

    As a small team of 30 people everyone works closely together and are aware of what everyone is working on so communication is quick and easy, creating minimal barriers to progress. Everyone plays a really important role and takes on big responsibilities so it is very rewarding as each team member has a big impact on what we are doing here at OpenRent.
