Room in a Shared Flat, Amelia Mansions, E20

Our flatmate is leaving us, so we’re looking for someone to take over his double room from 7 April (slightly later would also be ok).

We’re looking for a fellow professional (no full-time students please) who is close to our age (roughly 25-35), and have no preference regarding gender.

Rent is £1013 pcm, including basic furniture but not bills, and you’d share the main bathroom with Clem. There is space for a desk if you need one.

The flat is on the top floor, with a good sized kitchen and a huge living room that looks straight out onto the Olympic Park (it was built as part of the athlete’s village for the 2012 Olympic Games). We also have a spacious balcony with the same view.

Residents get free secure bike storage, and parking is available from the landlord (GetLiving) at an additional cost.

There are tons of independent cafes and restaurants, and all sorts of leafy areas right on our door step. We also have a bunch of facilities within walking distance, including:
Gyms and sports facilities (the aquatics centre, velodrome etc),
Westfields shopping centre,
Stratford station (central, jubilee, DLR, National rail)
Stratford International Station (DLR, HS1)

Your flatmates would be Clem (who does scientific research) and Angela (who works in IT).

As flatmates we’re pretty chill - this is a place for us to relax and unwind, so we’d love to find someone who wants the same thing (def. not a party flat). That’s not to say we aren’t up for a chat, or the occasional fun trip out together!

Bills are generally around £100 pcm (water, heat, electricity, council tax) but will be coming down for summer.
