Room in a Shared House, Lynton Rd, SE1

Lovely furnished and newly decorated double room available in a 3 bedroom house in Bermondsey, sharing with one other female and two friendly cats.

I own the house, but I purposely bought a house with a spare room because I like to share. I very much want a housemate that is looking for a home and I very much see things as equal rather than a landlord/tenant relationship. My last housemate has stayed for 4 years and is only leaving because she has bought a house.

I’m single and I work in insurance in the city. I usually work from home 2/3 days per week. I use the 3rd bedroom as an office, if you need to work from home there’s a good kitchen table that works well as a work space.

We will share a bathroom but I promise I’m clean and tidy, and the bathroom is brand new, having been refurbished in December.

There’s a large living room (with a piano if that’s your thing) and a large kitchen

 I share the house with 2 beautiful friendly cats called Bruno and Darcy, so whoever moves in needs to be a cat lover! They rule the roost and will definitely have veto powers over their new housemate!

 In terms of my interests I’m very involved with my local am dram group and am also a run director at Southwark parkrun. I like to think I’m fun and sociable, but equally live for a night in front of the tele and watching a good box set.
