THE PROPERTY
This property is a fantastic, fairly large one-bed flat with good light in a mid-terrace house on the popular Norwood Street just off Victoria Road, less than five minutes' walk from the station, a very short walk to the town centre, beach and supermarkets, as well as cafes and shopping. The flat has been decorated in a smart, modern, clean and neutral style. It has a bedroom and en-suite shower room at the front, large lounge, large kitchen, and lots of storage. Back yard leading to a low-ceiling basement, (not available for use by the tenant). Upstairs (sharing a communal front door) is a shared house with six professional or retired tenants, (all over 25 years, quiet, respectful and friendly). There is WiFi included, but all other bills are to be paid by the tenants.
No off-street parking but spaces re always available on the road and permits can be purchased from the council.
THE HOUSEMATES
The only thing you share with the upstairs is the front door, front yard and bins. However, there is a WhatsApp group for them and you, along with the landlord, so you can coordinate with things like accepting parcel deliveries, tradespeople getting access for routine jobs and bin rotas.
