Beautiful ground floor Victorian conversion flat. It is recently renovated so is in excellent condition with wooden floors throughout. It comprises 2 bedrooms (one large, one small), a bathroom with walk-in shower, a living room, and a kitchen that leads to a walled garden. The garden is south-facing so catches the sun all afternoon & is ideal for BBQs. The flat is currently configured as 2 beds, but would also suit a couple looking for a spare room/ study as the second room is quite small (but is big enough for a double bed, small wardrobe and drawers).
The flat is in a great location with excellent transport links. There is a Santander bike dock just 1 minute walk away; Lambeth North tube (Bakerloo line) is just 4 mins walk away; it's a 12 minute walk to Waterloo (Jubilee & Northern lines; a 15 minute walk to Westminster (Jubilee, District, & Circle lines); and 10 minute walk to Elephant & Castle (Northern line, City branch); there are numerous buses going to City and West End, so it is easy & quick to get anywhere in London.
The area is fantastic: it is opposite the Imperial War Museum, with its lovely park. There are many good bars, cafes, & restaurants close by. Lower Marsh, South Bank, The Cut, Kennington Cross etc. are all very close. The newly regenerated Elephant and Castle is just a 10 minute walk away, and E&C leisure centre is at the end of the road.
The flat has gas central heating, and a washing machine. Parking (with permit) is available on the street.
High speed broadband is included but no other bills.
