We are seeking a new house mate for this well-furnished, warm and quiet bedroom. All bills included.
The house has 5 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The available bedroom is in the loft overlooking the garden. It has a fitted wardrobe and chest of drawers and a desk. Ideal if you're working from home or studying. There is also plenty of space downstairs in the living room (communal TV) and kitchen with a dining table.

The house is in a quiet street off Northfields Avenue within close walking distance of Northfields Station and South Ealing Station (Piccadilly Line). It is also close to West Ealing Station on the District Line and on the Western Rail Main Line. West Ealing is also a stop on the Elizabeth line (Crossrail - expected to start running in 2021). This will make the journey into central London much faster. There are also very good bus services close by, such as the E2 and E3. The Uxbridge Road is a short walk away where there are frequent buses to Ealing Broadway (5 minutes away) which has a big shopping centre and many restaurants and bars.
The house is fully furnished throughout to a good standard. The house is very secure and has street parking. The house has a garden with wood decking and a shed. There is a bathroom (bath, toilet and washbasin) on the first floor and a utility room on the ground floor with a shower, toilet and basin. The utility room also has a washing machine and a tumble dryer. There is space to dry washing in the yard (under cover) and in the utility room. The house has central heating which extends to all rooms and all common areas including the utility room. There are two 3-seater leather sofas in the living room.
The house has a lot of storage. There is a shed in the garden and a large cupboard under the stairs. Plus there is 15 m2 of storage in the loft with access by a telescopic ladder that can be pulled down from the loft hatch.
The property has recently been refurbished/redecorated. This included a new wooden floor in the living room. There is a brand new gas cooker and hob. The kitchen has two large fridge/freezers (one of them was renewed recently). There is a combi boiler which supplies the central heating and provides constant hot water. This is checked regularly as part of the gas safety certificate. There is a washing machine and dryer in the utility room.
The rent is fixed at the current level for the next 12 months. The bills are included. All repairs, maintenance and refurbishment costs plus the replacement of inventory items are paid for by the Landlord. The notice period is 2 months to the month end.
The rental is completely flexible. After 2 months it can be ended with 2 months notice. So if it doesn't work out you are not tied in to a long term contract.
The 4 present house mates, Nishita and Fabio are professionals, British, in their 30s. They have lived at the house for over 3 years. 2 others have just moved in. The house is very welcoming and friendly, and everybody's privacy is respected.
There is now one room available as shown. We are looking for somebody who will fit in, is easygoing and tidy.
The Landlord doesn't live at the property but is in London and is very careful to ensure the property is always well maintained. The house is registered as an HMO (House of multiple occupancy) with Ealing Council. This means that it complies with all regulations for rented accommodation and is regularly inspected. Since the property is managed directly there are no agency fees. .
