The whole upstairs space is your own, so other than the odd friendly interaction on the stairwell or in the utility room (where the shared washing machine is downstairs) you still have a sense of privacy (which is probably quite rare for lodgers!). We felt safe at home being part of a larger house.

Bedroom looks over a beautiful garden. Bright living space with huge windows - everyone we’ve had over has said it has a really lovely open feel to it. The kitchen comes with really good induction hops, oven, kettle, a toaster as well as fully equipped with cutlery, plates, glasses, pots, pans, and various other bits. If you like cooking, it is perfect.

The house is full of character - it’s a detached house with a big pink door and bright blue exterior walls, then once you’re in you walk up to the flat past paintings, books, and sculptures (so so much better than a dingy stairwell)

Amazing location on the border of Camden and Islington, on a quiet residential street (which is a cycle route), and great transport links (short walk to Caledonian Road station on the Piccadilly line and therefore quick trip to King’s Cross)

Everything’s included, so no extra cost for WiFi or bills or council tax which has been nice and relaxing! We could budget really easily with no surprise extra costs.

And as a little final note as we said in our moving out email - we’ve really loved living there and feel very proud of the flat, it’s easily the best place we’ve got to live in in London
