The room: currently furnished with a desk, armchair, closet and bed including an almost new memory foam mattress. (My mum was living here for a couple weeks and she’s over the top clean but it wouldn’t offend me to replace it) there’s some art on the walls and a few creature comforts that will make you feel right at home. West facing with long bright sunsets. Big bathroom, shower & bath. All modern and well spec’s.
The house: it’s a lovely and large place at the top of Lanfranc road. Real family vibe around here with no noise or anything like that. The house has a big back yard and plenty to keep you busy if you like gardening (I’ve got an allotment around the corner if you fancy pulling weeds and the occasional carrot or two also!) this house will benefit from another lover of cooking to make use of all the gear I’ve been collecting, plus it’s a big kitchen with a proper gas oven. The house has a big living room also so you can always have a duvet day in front of the tv when all else fails!
The neighbourhood: I’m a short walk from the station, 30/40 mins from the hospital, 20 to the sea and there’s shops even closer, 5 mins maybe? Waitrose is around 30mins. The house and the area really do come into their own in a few weeks when spring hits!
The roommate: I’m a pretty easy going guy, mid 30s, gay af. When I’m not at my garden I’m scrubbing something or cooking. Kind of a sweet situation if you’re into clean bathrooms and a meal or two here and there lol. I work from home, almost exclusively and sometimes frequent overseas trips so you can count on a couple weeks with some leg room around here. I attract cats, there’s a few kicking around but I don’t actually own one.. I’m allergic but it doesn’t stop me, what I mean is that if you’ve got one it’s certainly not a deal breaker, I’ll just scrub more things I guess
Anyway, more pix on request, ideally looking for a person to fill the space sooner rather than later. It suits a shorter term situation but I’m open to longer, notice period is (1month).
