The room being advertised is the large downstairs room [as shown in the photos]. The house is in a secluded area, fifteen minutes walk from the villages of Windermere and Bowness, and the boat ferry service on Lake Windermere.
There is a large back garden with views over the fells. Although very close to all amenities; shops, doctor and dental surgery, numerous pubs and restaurants; it is just far enough off the main roads and tourist track to be away from the seasonal bustling crowds.
There is a local cinema and theatre. The local supermarket is Booths, and there is a Sainsbury's and Tesco local as well as a Co-op. Kendal, just 20 minutes away by car, has a Morrisons, Asda and Aldi, as well as the Westmorland General Hospital.
The property is well maintained. Suitable for a single non-smoking person.
We require a month' deposit and a month's rent in advance. And there is a minimum of three month's rental required.
All bills are included; gas and electricity, rates and water charges. There is free internet access, use of a washing machine, and a TV in the front lounge.
