A spacious home that is conveniently located just a few minutes walk to Hillingdon Underground Station and a less than 15min bus ride to Brunel University and Uxbridge town as well as other businesses and green areas. It's the perfect place to explore London from as well as to be based for longer term work/studies in the local area.

We are also a short distance away from popular places like Heathrow Airport (15mins) Uxbridge Town Centre (6mins), Denham Country Park (10mins), Colne Valley Regional Park (7mins), Ruislip Lido (lake, forest & beach-10mins), Hillingdon Hospital (8mins), GiffGaff office (9mins), Pinewood Studios (14mins) & more. We are 45mins to Baker Street in central London and 32mins to Wembley Stadium on the Tube which is less than a 10min walk away. There are plenty of Ubers available at any time within a few minutes.

THE SPACE:
A spacious double room with a double bed and everything you need close by. There is storage space in the room itself including a desk and wardrobe and shelves and it is part of a spacious 3 bedroom house.

You'll have access to the shared kitchen, dining room and conservatory area. Free high-speed WiFi and all bills are included.

The room is a private space and not accessible to others while you stay.

There is a good size bathroom next to the room which is shared.

GUEST ACCESS
Kitchen, dining room and conservatory for making food / eating / relaxing. As we are predominantly a vegetarian house we ask that you only use the kitchen for vegetarian cooking (eggs is fine). Please note, there is a living room but that isn't accessible to guests as it is for the landlords.

GETTING AROUND
The house is located very conveniently for everything!

A quiet, very safe and peaceful street with lovely neighbours and local amenities. There is a local supermarket just a few minutes walk as well as lots of cafes and a Chinese restaurant across the road. There is also a fish and chip shop, newsagents, Greggs, post office and many other shops for anything you could want.

The local park is a short 8 minute walk which is wonderful on a warm day and the underground train station is also just 7 minutes walk away. There are lots of lovely green spaces and walks you can do which we'd be happy to show you.

A short 10 minute bus ride away is lots of green spaces and many walking routes to explore.

It's just a 7minute walk to Hillingdon Underground Station from where you can catch the Piccadilly or Metropolitan underground train lines. This makes it super easy to get in and out of central London as you need and the met line trains are the modern ones with air con and ventilation and spacious so safe and comfortable during these strange times. You can take the Piccadilly line all the way to Heathrow Airport. Baker Street is only 30min on the Metropolitan train line, Kings Cross St Pancras Station is only 45mins, Bond Street station is only 40mins to name just a few.

There is a bus stop just 2mins walk away which goes to Uxbridge in 7-10mins where there is two very large shopping malls and many other restaurants and shops. Brunel University and Uxbridge college are 10 - 15mins on the bus too. There is also a bus that leaves from here that goes directly to Heathrow Airport in 30mins.

The exit on to the A40 is just a 2mins drive away giving access to the main motorways like the M25 or M4 very quickly.

Ideally looking for a vegetarian housemate (working professional or PHD or Masters students are welcome too and can get a discount) to share our home but as long as you are someone that will look after the home and room and do not mind a quiet and relaxed home. You should also be someone that is extra careful during coronavirus times when cases are high as we have elderly parents that we visit regularly and need to take extra precautions to keep the safe.
