That being said there a number of larger towns Elgin and Inverurie 45-60 mins away and smaller towns of Huntly, Banff and Turriff within 20mins drive. 

Travel networks are good, there is a primary school in the local village of Aberchirder (locally known as Foggie), with the secondary schools being in Banff, Turriff or Huntly. Foggie has a small Co-op shop, Chinese takeaway, fish and chip shop, a couple of automotive garages, village hall/fitness suite, Doctors /Health centre. Everything you need to live a comfortable, peaceful life.

Closer to home you have the river Deveron only a 300m walk away.

The house is on 3 levels, with the kitchen/living room being open plan on the lowest floor, where there is also a utility type room and down stairs Shower room and toilet. This level leads out onto the decking surrounded by a raised flower/herb garden with an area for BBQ.

The house is heated on the lower and middle level by underfloor heating from the oil central heating system. Upstairs in the bedrooms via radiators.
