We live in a spacious ground floor flat in a large picturesque house in a quiet road in Surbiton.

We are looking to let out our lovely spare double bedroom as our previous lodger is moving out. The bedroom for rent has a double bed, desk and chair and clothes rail included and looks out onto the garden.

The room is available from 12th April 2024 and we are open to Short Term and Long Term lets.


Transport

We have excellent transport links close by. The flat is a 10 minute walk away from Surbiton station where fast trains go frequently into London Waterloo. There are also stopping trains into Waterloo via Wimbledon, Earlsfield ,Clapham Junction and Vauxhall.  

There is a bus stop directly outside the property, going to either Kingston or Hook. The bus stop that is a 5 minute walk away is located at the end of our road and is on the 281, 406 and 418 bus routes.

Surbiton High Street is a 10 minute walk from the flat and has a plethora of shops, pubs and supermarkets. Surbiton station is just off the main high street and has a Sainsburys Local and small cafe. There is also a large Sainsburys 5 minutes walk down the high street and a large Waitrose, both with free on-site parking.


About us (live-in landlords)


My boyfriend and I are both 31  professionals (he is a Lawyer and I’m a Headhunter). We both work hybrid, using the kitchen and living area for our workstations.

We tend to have busy work and social lives but equally enjoy relaxing at home when we can. We keep the flat clean and tidy but are otherwise very relaxed and would want you to treat the flat as your home as well. We like to use our weekends to see fiends and family, sometimes in the countryside and, therefore, sometimes away for long weekends- so you would have the flat to yourself when we are away.


Parking

The flat has one parking space allocated on the property’s large driveway where we park our car. It is very quick simple to get a parking permit for the neighbouring roads which can be purchased directly from the council.
