"we absolutely loved our three and a half years at Worgan's. A warm cosy cottage in the magical village of Slad. Many sunny lunches and enchanted evening meals were shared with family and friends in the beautiful, south-facing garden, which has the most incredible views of Slad valley. We made such good friends with other Sladees, our friendship continues. We love and miss the home we made there and hope that the next tenants enjoy it is much as we did".

This characterful and charming, three-bedroomed house enjoys stunning views over the surrounding countryside, with an endless choice of walks around the local area.

Slad, in the Cotswolds, is the village where the author Laurie Lee grew up and where he based his book "Cider with Rosie". The house is a stroll away from the Woolpack inn - now a gastro-pub. It is two miles from Stroud which has a direct rail service to London, Paddington (1 hour 35 minutes).

An extensive, landscaped garden with terraces - ideal for outdoor eating. 

Unusually for Slad there is parking for two cars and a public layby opposite, plus more parking two minutes walk from the cottage.
