The space

The vintage bathroom is off the kitchen, and it retains the original and now antique 130-year-old chain flush cistern and sink. It has a bath and shower with constant hot water.

The lounge has a comfy leather, pocket-sprung sofa bed, two armchairs and a desk. Under the stairs to the second floor is a washing machine and dryer, plus an additional sink.

The huge master bedroom on the 2nd floor is like a luxury hotel suite with a pocket-sprung mattress, modern sofa, drawers, desk and walk-in wardrobe. A tranquil well-equipped 2nd bedroom is to the rear.

There is a small stone yard outside where bicycles could be locked away.

Other things to note

Access to the apartment is by foot from a rear cobble-stoned alley, into a courtyard, shared with other flats and used for staff breaks by the local businesses. 

The landlord runs an interior design business from the ground floor which has a doorway to a shared rear entrance hall. He is available throughout the day to accept parcel deliveries. 

Street parking is available in the local residential streets.
