The single room contains all of the above features albeit in a more compact form. Despite the room size being a cosy 6.6sqm we have still managed to shoehorn a small double bed and desk/chair. This room is located on the 1st floor at the front of the house. This room would suit both students and working professionals alike perhaps more so for the light traveller.
THE HOUSE
The house is a large semi-detached house located on High Road. There are six rooms in total with 2 bathrooms. The house was fully refurbished 3 years ago with a new kitchen installed. There is a front garden and large rear grassy garden. Perfect for exercising/circuits/yoga/meditation. There is also a storage shed and bike racks. The house is fully HMO compliant with fire doors and smoke alarms. The house is kept clean and tidy by the existing housemates.
THE LOCATION
Quiet area away from the hustle and bustle of down-town central Portswood, yet a 15 walk to University areas, local shops and local restaurants (Persian, India, Thai, Chinese and good old McDonalds).
Its a 5 minute walk to Swaythling station and Convenient for access to M3 and M27 motorways.
Its also a short commute to Southampton City Centre and Eastleigh.
A 12 minute walk to beautiful Riverside Park and Woodmill for lovely stroll along the water. Sainsburys supermarket is a 15 minute walk.
PUBLIC TRANSPORT AND PARKING
There is a bus stop just outside property with buses into City Centre and Portswood High Street.
Its a 30 minute bus ride to General Hospital. Swaythling station is around a 5 minute walk. There is free parking for up to 2 cars at the rear of the property.

WHAT ABOUT THE OTHER HOUSEMATES?
There are currently 4 other housemates; a perfect balance of two males and two females. All are working professionals. Ages range from early twenties to mid thirties. The housemates are from England, Portugal, and Greece - a real cosmopolitan household!
WHY DO YOU NOT CHARGE A DEPOSIT?
We are a throwback to how business was done many years ago, and place tremendous faith and trust in our customers (tenants) to look after the place and pay the rent on time. Property is a people's business after all and our vision is to cultivate strong working relationships.
Agents are landlords are no longer permitted to charge admin fees. We stopped doing this over a year ago. We also go one step further and do not charge for a deposit. We understand that in this day and age, some folks are unable to stump up close to a thousand pounds before they can move in and some people do live month to month. Our preference is for a UK based Guarantor.
