Room in a Shared House, Layburn Crescent, SL3

We now have just one of our clean and spacious double rooms left available for individual single occupancy let. The room is in a four-bed house where the existing tenants are two mature professional guys, one who lives at the house permanently, and one who stays at the house whilst he works shifts at Heathrow, and lives elsewhere with his family the rest of the time. A third tenant (female) will be moving in at the end of this month.  Whilst close to the A4 and M4 for access to the airport, London, the M25 and West Berkshire and beyond, the house itself is in a fairly quiet cul-de-sac away from busy traffic.

The room available is furnished with double bed (with recently replaced memory foam mattresses), chest of drawers, night stands and built in wardrobe, and has a TV socket and radiator. It's not an en suite, but there is a bathroom with a big bath and an over bath shower next door, and a separate shower room with wc downstairs.

The rest of the house, consisting of lounge, dining room, kitchen and paved back garden (ideal if you are a smoker as it is a non-smoking house) are shared by everyone and are furnished. There is free parking on and off street and a garage which provides storage and a home for the washing machine.

We've always had a policy of occasional overnight guests not being a problem, as long as consideration is given to the other housemates, who work shifts and need peace and quiet. However, we're sorry but we'd rather not take couples as a permanent set-up, as it isn't fair on the others to have more than four people sharing at one time.
