This is a fixed term renting possibility, starting 1st of March 2020 and ends 31st of October 2020.  The property is realistically  a 2.5 bedroom house, where the smallest room is used as an office.
Our lovely house is perfect for a couple or a couple with one child who enjoys a large garden. Despite being in London this big garden provides a relaxing and refreshing atmosphere. The area is very quiet and very good connected to London City via train, tube and bus.Living room: It´s a large room where we have on one side 2 sofas, a table to sit and chat and some bookshelves as well. The other side we use as a “little gym”. There is an infrared sauna (for 1 person), a stationary bike, space for a yoga mat and a fireplace (non-usable)
Conservatory: This beautiful conservatory with direct view into the garden has a table and 6 chairs, 2 cupboards and a fridge/freezer and access to the garden. While sitting at the table you can watch the birds and squirrels.
Terrace: In front of the conservatory is a large terrace with plenty of space for reclining chairs, table and chairs to eat outside. The adjacent shed contains lawnmower and various gardening tools.
Kitchen: Our kitchen is equipped with a washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, oven and a gas hob, sink and cupboards fully equipped with everything you need.
Hallway: There are two front doors with space in between for shoes and in the hallway, it has a drawer, coat pegs and a little cupboard underneath the stairs for all the cleaning utensils. The stairs will lead up to the bedrooms, toilet and bathroom.
Master Bedroom: This bedroom contains a king-size bed (180x200cm) and built-in wardrobe covering one wall.
2nd Bedroom: Here you can use a sofabed which can be used by one person to sleep or in the extended mode for 2 people (160x200cm). The room has also a built-in wardrobe and some bookshelves.
Office: In the small office is a desk and an office chair.
Bathroom: The Bathroom has a sink, a mirror cabinet, a tub with shower. There is a heater to dry the towels and windows for ventilation. The toilet is in an adjacent room, also with a window.
Garden: There is a front garden with rose bushes and a variation of shrubs who look and smell wonderful in spring and summertime. Part of the rear garden has a lawn that needs mowing once in a while, a lawnmower is provided. Around the lawn, are further rose bushes and shrubs and a pear tree. In the very back garden are 4 beds, small apple, cherry and plum trees. If you do not wish to take care of the garden – except mowing, we can prepare the garden for that. We also have a fire bowl and logs, so you can sit outside and enjoy the evenings.
There are many different options to get into the city. You have access to the train station “South Merton” about 5- 9 minutes walk with trains to e.g. Wimbledon, Blackfriars, Elephant and Castle, City Thameslink and St. Pancras. The bus is close by (2min) that brings you to either Wimbledon or Morden Station. Wimbledon has further train and tube access into the city and Morden is a direct tube link into the city as well (Northern Line). You can walk to Morden station within 15min.
There are many parks close by, some of them are very large, ideal for a stroll after work or at the weekend.
Grocery shopping is very close, 3 min walk, larger stores are at Wimbledon and Morden Station.
