Hello! I have a double room available to let in a spacious townhouse in Hulme. The house is across 3 floors with a gorgeous open-plan living and kitchen space on the top floor. The property has 4 balconies across the 2nd and 3rd floors to the front and rear, and 2 large bathrooms (one is a walk in wet room).
The bedroom is furnished with a double bed with a good quality mattress, wardrobe, and drawers. It also has a UPVC double glazed door that opens onto a large balcony. The room is not huge, but big enough to fit the furniture in without being cramped, and there is also additional storage under the bed (the bed has drawers). The ground floor has laminated wood flooring and a large wet room shower, and all other areas are carpeted. The open-plan living area on the top floor is huge and has a double height ceiling with skylight windows.
The location of this townhouse is fantastic - a short walk from the south side of the city centre, and right next to Asda and Princess Parkway. It is around the corner from the vibrant Hulme High Street area, but on a quiet, pleasant street, with views of a local church and Manchester city from the top floor balcony.
The other housemates are all working professionals in their 20s or early 30s. Rent includes ALL bills (council tax, broadband, gas, water, electricity, TV licence). We have a good cleaner who comes twice per month to clean all the communal areas - each tenant contributes £15 per month towards this; this is the only additional cost.
Viewing is highly recommended to appreciate the size of the communal living space. I will give preference to anyone wanting to stay longer term as this is better for the existing housemates.
