As this is sharing with one other female, applications only from women are being considered. Single occupancy in double room with use of shared kitchen/sitting room, bathroom and shower room and plenty of outside space. Available to rent from end of January/beginning of February.

The home is a dutch barge, in a peaceful sociable community of boat-dwellers on the river. 

As you will be sharing the boat with the owner who works here, you will need to be working full time daytime Monday to Friday outside the property. 

Fully insulated and modernised. Roomy below deck with lots of outside space from where to enjoy the ebb and flow of the river and the wildlife. It's not a narrowboat on the canals that needs to move. 

The central London location has plenty of pubs, restaurants and shops, including Maltby St market; close to Bermondsey Street, the offices of More London and Guy's Hospital.

The Boat

This floating community is a collection of historic vessels. There are two cabins, a modern shower room and bathroom. The kitchen/sitting room is open plan, with a large skylight. The wheelhouse is spacious, also with plenty of light. Radiators heat each room, gas hob, electric oven, lots of fridge space, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer. You will need to be flexible and adaptable, as boat-living can be unpredictable at times. All part of the charm!
