I have a room available in my 2 bedroom flat. You will be sharing the flat with me. I am 32 years old, male and friendly. I work for a tech startup. and I am tidy and easy to get along with. I enjoy simple pleasures; cooking, board games, meditation, reading, walks, gym / fitness etc. My last flat-mate moved out to live with his partner, and we become good friends in that time. I like to make conversation if we're both in the shared spaces, but I also respect people's own space.
About the flat:
It's a very comfortable flat and feels very homely. It's quiet, spacious, fairly modern and get's plenty of natural light. It's a secure flat with intercom entry and places to lock up bikes outside in the gated car-park. I like to keep it a vegetarian household. You don't have to be vegetarian (my last flatmate wasn't), but this will only suit someone who is happy to not bring/eat meat in the flat.
About the room:
It has a double bed, get's plenty of natural light and is very quiet, The room has a large wardrobe with plenty of storage, and the double bed also lifts up and has storage inside it. There is also a wall mounted computer desk and a desk chair provided.
What's included:
- Use of the entire flat; lounge, dining area, patio space etc.
- All the bills are included (Council Tax, Gas, Electric, Water and High-Speed fibre optic broadband)
- Use of washing machine / dryer
- I'm not fussy about things like soap, washing up liquid, washing up powder, loo roll etc, so you can just make use of mine if you'd like!
Location:
- Huge 24 hour Tesco which is less than a 10 min walk
- Good size Nisa Local and Co-Op just across the road which are open until late
- Few nice parks a walk away (Grove Hall Park, Mile End Park, Victoria Park and the Olympic Park)
- Some nice places to eat around Mile End (15 mins walk)
Transport Links:
- Bow Church (DLR) station is a 60 second walk
- Bow Road (Hammersmith and City Line & District Line) is a 5 minute walk
- Mile End (Central Line) station is 15 min walk or 3 mins on the Bus
- Stratford is a 25 min walk (or 5 mins on the bus)
- There is a bus stop right outside the flat with busses going into the City (35 mins) and into Stratford (5 mins)
