My wife and I own this flat we let in Bow, London E3 (Zone 2) - our only rented flat and we look after it well. It’s a large 780 square foot bright and airy 2 equal sized double bedroom 2 bathroom apartment on the second floor in a new build secure entry modern block with a big west facing balcony that stretches the length of the flat. It’s modern, clean, light and spacious, fully furnished with secure bike store and new appliances.

The flat is just 2 tube stops from Zone 1. Mile End (Central Line, District, Ham & City) is a 13 minute walk or short bus ride, Devons Road (DLR) is a 5 minute walk. 

The flat has a private balcony, shared courtyard, dishwasher, large fridge freezer, gas hob, electric cooker, washer/dryer, big LED TV on the wall and leather corner sofa.

My wife and I maintain the flat well, it has a new boiler. Any issues we get them fixed straight away.

£1049 per month for double en-suite room. The flat has 2 double rooms, 2 bathrooms (one bedroom has an en-suite (the room available) and there is also a large family bathroom). Council tax is ~£110 per month.

The flat is extremely well located for commute to The City or Canary Wharf.

7min walk to Devon’s Rd DLR, 15 min walk to Mile End Tube. Two bus routes stop outside flat. Tesco and Lidl short walking distance. Across from school and church, lovely views of Canary Wharf Skyline.

Bills average to about £160/month additionally.

I’m Hayley! I’m an American, been living in London for almost 5 years and been at this flat for almost four. Love the space and our landlord is wonderful to work with. I’m a tailor and work for a fabric business in Hackney. My sewing workspace is in the shared living room, but I’m very tidy and keep it so. I’m seeking a female who is also very tidy, and someone who loves a balance of socializing and quiet time. I’m an extroverted-introvert, so I usually keep to myself but I’m very friendly and don’t mind chatting. Very open to going to the pub or doing activities together every once in a while. I’m self-sufficient and love talking history and travel! If you are a fellow sewist, I’m happy to share my space with you (or maybe teach a bit!) I go to Hillsong Church and lead a sisterhood group, and I’ll have them over every once in a while. I love traveling, watching period dramas, and reading. Would love to get to know someone as a great roommate!
