LOOKING FOR A NEW FLATMATE!
THE ROOM:
Spacious and light! The room has one floor to celling window looking onto the front terrace, and a beautiful sliding Julien Balcony overlooking the top of a pedestrianised street - both allow for lots of natural light. The sunshine in the morning is beautiful.
The room currently fits a double sofa bed, a desk, a HUUUUUGE wardrobe and a bookcase comfortably. The wardrobe is up for grabs if you'd like it to stay but other than that the room comes unfurnished.
Not so relevant for the summer, but the bedroom also has underfloor heating with its own thermostat so you can keep yourself as warm (or as cold) as you like during the winter months. :)
THE APARTMENT:
Literally BRAND NEW. Only 2 months old! It's on the second floor. It has a really high finish throughout. Light wooden flooring everywhere, with the exception of the bedrooms which have a neutral soft carpet. Underfloor heating in the entire apartment.
Here's the run down:
2 x double bedrooms
2 x bathrooms (a large master with a rainforest shower and a bath which will be pretty much yours because I have an en-suite)
1 x large open plan kitchen/diner/living room
2 x beautiful terraces at either end of the living room. The first is on the street side, accessed from the kitchen dinner and it catches direct sun during the day. The second terrace is sits on the opposite side, accessed front the living room, and the best bit. it backs on to the private resident-only ROOF GARDEN!
No car parking space but we have secure bicycle storage on the ground floor.
THE AREA:
The apartment is in The Scene, which is a new complex that's been built on the corner of High street and Hoe street. As well as apartments, The Scene also has a brand new Empire cinema and 4 restaurant options (perfect for those lazy nights when you can't face cooking).
Walthamstow itself is a lively cosmopolitan area currently undergoing extensive (Email Removed After Let) has a famous village which is 5 min away, and an interesting arts trail which is taking place during June. It has lots of trendy pubs, a famous shopping market too, a park and leisure facilities near by. The transport links are AMAZING, zone 3 Victoria line to central London and overground to the City in 15 minutes.
ME:
I'm an interior designer, originally from Brazil but I've been in London for 10 years. I like to go out during the week and weekends, but also like to just hang out at home. I love cycling, food markets, cooking, plants, art, travelling and interior design obviously! :)
YOU:
I am looking for the usual really... someone who's friendly, sociable, considerate, responsible, tidy, professional etc. I'm sociable and open for a night out and hanging out together in the flat, but I do also understand the importance of having your own space within a flat share.
I've only recently bought and decorated the apartment and it's such an amazing space so I'm looking to share with someone who will appreciate and enjoy it.
No smoker, no couples, no pets (this is a building rule).
