Double bedroom near Brockwell Park

Hi all,

I am moving overseas and i am looking for someone to take over my room along with the contract starting around 17.05 (would consider temporary sublet up until Sept for £900 incl bills a month). Currently i live with my best friend and our contract ends on 16.09.2024. We are looking for someone to move in with a prospect of staying another year. The room is petite but fits a double bed and other necessities. Living room is good size and has some furniture but you are welcome to rearrange, put a desk/chair etc if you like. The flat initially came unfurnished, however at the moment there is everything you need (i will be leaving the furniture behind). The flat is located on the second floor, 2 min from Brockwell park. The bus stops are just in front of the house as well as Tulse hill station 5 min walk away / Herne Hill station is about 10 min away.

A bit about my flatmate (who is staying on): Anna is 35yo, has been living in London for over 10 years. Originally from Latvia, works as a personal trainer in The City and spends most of her time with clients in the gym. When at home, she enjoys cooking pancakes and is friendly and clean.

She(we :-)) are looking for someone tidy and chilled, who is friendly but also enjoys their own space and doesn’t mind less bright room as the window in the room on offer is quite small (however the room is still really cozy). On the ground floor there is a bike storage if needed.

About the contract: The current rent is £1650 pcm + bills. All bills come up to around ~£140 per person. Council tax bad C (if not mistaken). From 16.09 it would be an official amendment to the existing contract (i am happy to pay for the change) and the new person would need to undergo checks thorough the agency and you would need to be on at least £35K up.

It’s a great location flat for someone that likes living by the park, is clean and friendly.
