Room in a Shared Flat, East Village, E20

Hi guys,

One of our housemates is sadly moving out in January 2020. We're advertising a double bedroom in a four bed townhouse located in East Village.

The room comes fully furnished with a double bed, a nightstand, a chest of drawers, and a large built in wardrobe.. The room looks out onto a landscaped courtyard, so quite a nice view.

The flat itself is a nice shared living room and a fitted kitchen with a dining table. The apartment is modern, clean and well-equipped, with dishwasher, washing machine with a dryer, fridge/freezer and everything you need. There is a bathroom on the same floor as the room, which has a good size shower and lots of space for toiletries.

The current housemates are three professionals (Steph Sam and Mike) and are very chilled. We have a great time watching movies (or Love Island…) keeping fit in the park, or going for a drink in Hackney Wick. During lockdown we've modified the dining room into a small gym to keep fit, so ideally we are looking for someone who has similar interests.

The Olympic Village is a great place to live and is very well connected: 7 minute walk to the DLR or Stratford International station with the high-speed rail (7 minutes to St Pancras International), and a 15 minute walk to Stratford station (Central and Jubilee lines, DLR, overground, trains to Liverpool Street etc.). Stansted and Southend airports are within an hour on a bus or train.

The neighbourhood itself is full of great coffee places and restaurants. Plenty of choices for your food shopping: Sainsbury's local, big Waitrose at Westfield or independents. If you like working out, you’ll have plenty of options too with Better Gym, Anytime Fitness gym and Gymbox (or the home gym!). Finally, if you like to discover the East side of London, Hackney Wick, the Olympic park, Hackney Marshes, Regent’s canal and Victoria Park are just a short walk away and are great places for casual walks, cycle or runs.

The neighbourhood is well kept, clean and safe, well lit at night with local dedicated security.

Rent is £748 per month and this includes Hyperoptic high speed broadband, water and council tax. Electricity and heating are separate.

There is no deposit required and no agency fees for Get Living London, but they will need references.
