The apartment

The area
One of the main reasons we bought this apartment was because of the numerous transport options on your doorstep – which mean that most parts of London are very easily accessible.
It is situated about 30 seconds walk from St James Overground (Email Removed After Let) here you can get into Liverpool Street and the City in under 15 minutes. The highly desirable London Fields and Broadway Market can be reached conveniently from the same station.
If you require to get to the West End or further South as far as Brixton – then you have the Victoria line station of Blackhorse Road in under 10 minutes walk (a few minutes by the numerous buses that stop outside the building). This underground line is due to come 24 hour on the weekend meaning getting home from most parts of Central London at any hour is simply done.
Another reason we purchased the property was because of the strong and growing community feel of the surrounding area. There is a huge range of activities, cafes, restaurants, pubs, bars and shops at your disposal. If running, cycling or walking is your things – then the Marshes are within easy reach and provide acres and acres of beautiful nature…also very popular for dog walking.
Walthamstow market is I believe the largest fruit and veg market in Europe (!) and fresh produce is available every day of the week – with the biggest presence on Saturdays. There is also a Sainsburys local next to the overground station.
It’s an area that how shown a lot of regeneration over the past few years – and every week there are new & exciting businesses popping up. I would be very happy to share my favourites with you – Walthamstow Village is just 15 minutes away and recently pedestrianised it offers a host of options for a relaxing weekend coffee with the papers.
Our current lovely tenants have to unfortunately move out due to a change in their working circumstances – but they will also be happy to talk you through their finds in the local area.
We are happy to keep the rent the same as we agreed last year – which is £1800 a month (bills on top). Our main motivation is to find someone whom we believe will enjoy and respect the apartment – and see it as their home for a number of years to come.
