LIVING ROOM:
The newly decorated bright living room is at the front of the house, with grand iron fireplace, comfy sofas, and even a spinning love seat!
KITCHEN BREAKFAST ROOM:
At the back of the house, looking out on the garden, the open-plan kitchen has a 5 spider burner gas cooker, table and chairs for 4, and is fully equipped with pots, pans, utensils, crockery and cutlery. Washing machine, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, kettle, and microwave provided too.
GARDEN:
The newly landscaped garden is fully owned (and therefore double the size of most), and has a lovely patio area which catches the morning and evening sun - table and bench provided. There is gas BBQ which you can use, and the easy-to-maintain artificial grass, which makes it ideal for hosting friends and family.
AREA:
The area is very friendly and sociable, there is a nice community feel among neighbours, many of whom are families. The home is nicely situated between Balham and Streatham Hill, allowing you to enjoy both areas - an array of shops, restaurants, bars and pubs, means you can eat somewhere different for every weekend of the year if you want. Balham’s Hildreth Street prides itself on a good brunch - and is buzzing on the weekend, with flower and food markets.
One of our favourite things about the location is that Tooting Bec Commons start literally at the end of the road - the commons have a warren of walking, cycling and running tracks, parks, playing fields and beautiful old oak trees. In the centre of the common is one of London's largest public outdoor Lidos at 90m long.
