2 Bed House Boat, Spring Hill, E5

I am looking for the right person to rent my widebeam narrow boat. The boat has 2 bedrooms, a double bedroom and a smaller cabin with room for a small double bed. The master bedroom has a kind size bed, 2 wardrobes and chest of draws.The master bedroom has doors which open out onto the bow of the boat where there is a seating area to enjoy the river. The bathroom is equipped with a small bath and shower and there is a water heater for instant hot water. The toilet is a cassette toilet which would need to be emptied at one of the elsan points along the river, you also have several spares.

The front room is a very spacious living and dining area with a fold out table and chairs for eating and there is a futon which can be turned into a guest bed.There is a very efficient squirrel wood/coal burning fire which heats up the entire boat very nicely in the colder months.

The kitchen is equipped with a gas oven, hobs and there is lots of storage here too.

As a tenant on this boat you would be a continuous cruiser, which means you move around the canal system in the north/east London area on the river Lea staying in one place for a maximum of 2 weeks. You will experience living in some beautiful nature spots. But you must be prepared to live nomadically around the broad area of north/east London and Hertfordshire. You do not need to be an experienced boater as I would move the boat for you until you are confident. I live locally and I’m available to give you support and advice if you need it.

I am looking for somebody who would like to stay on the boat for a at least 6 months who I can trust to look after her. I would need to see evidence of your employment through payslips and references from your employer and previous landlord.

Bills are not included.

The boat is currently moored in East London . All these areas have direct transport link to London Liverpool st.
