My wife and I are letting out our bright and airy two-bedroom flat, which is in a fantastic location in Kennington.

You can walk to Bank or Whitehall in 40 minutes and Trafalgar Square in 50 minutes. Escape the torment of the Tube at rush hour, save money and enjoy free exercise, all whilst living in a quiet, peaceful spot. During the five years I’ve lived here I’ve walked to work in Moorgate (50 minutes), and more recently to Victoria (45 minutes) nearly every day.

It's only five minutes walk to Kennington Tube station (zone 2, and soon to be zone 1/2, both branches of the Northern Line). The Tube can take you to Bank in 20 minutes or Camden in half an hour, including walking time to the station.

The opening of the Northern Line extension in autumn 2021 will see Kennington rezoned from zone 2 to zone 1/2. The new branch will connect us to Nine Elms (home to the new US embassy) and the newly redeveloped Battersea Power Station.

We are far enough away from main roads that we don’t get disturbed by traffic noise. The road at the front is a quiet side road. This is an oasis of quiet in zone 2.

There's a large Morrisons supermarket seven minutes' walk away, and a nice park four minutes' walk away.
