Hi, I'm Joe (27yrs old), and I'm looking to privately rent out my fully-furnished apartment – i.e. there are no estate agents or other middlemen involved.
I’ve been living here with my flatmate since I bought the place 2 years ago, but I’m relocating to Cambridge to do a company-sponsored masters before then being posted overseas for up to another 2 years for work.
The flat is very modern (only 2 yrs old and in great spec.), has great transport links, and overlooks a nice leafy park and park side canal (as well as the towers of Canary Wharf for a backdrop..!).
It is actually a 2-bed flat, but for legal/work/registration reasons, I need to keep the property listed as my primary residence, and so to do that legitimately I will [1] Have to keep the smaller bedroom door locked as“my room” (but will not actually ever be in the flat using it; it’ll just be for storage of a few of my possessions), & [2] will have to keep all bills and other accounts in my name as the owner of my primary residence.
…This is ultimately good news for you, as what it means is that every single bill you can think of will be in my name and therefore is already included in the rental price! (details provided previously above). The other added bonus is that you also don’t have to worry about any of the admin involved for all the various bill accounts.
