Above is the text my agent wrote, and I'd like to add some additional advantages as someone who has lived here. This place was truly my second home in London, as I arrived here for the first time. I genuinely hope my landlady finds someone as good a tenant as me for their next tenant.


- Friendly and attentive landlady: Meeting this landlady was the luckiest thing that happened to me last year. She always resolved any issues with the house within 24 hours and treated me kindly. There were no scams when I signed the contract, and I've been very satisfied living here. If I were staying in London, I would definitely renew the contract, but unfortunately, I'm leaving the UK soon, so I'm posting this ad to find my next tenant. I wonder if I'll ever meet another landlady as good as her in my life.

- Quiet flat building: The entire building is very quiet, so I never stress about noise. There are occasional construction noises inside the building, but only briefly during weekday daytime working hours. Plus, my downstairs neighbour is an office, so there's no problem with noise from us, even if you exercise or move around at night and in the early morning.

- Well-managed building: The 24-hour reception is very friendly, and the building is always kept clean.

- Prime location close to anywhere in London: It's a precise 7-minute walk to London Bridge and a 16-minute walk to Tower Hill station. And two bus stations in front of the building. Also, this unit is not located next to the main road, so you can avoid road noise.

- Tastefully remodeled flat interior: This flat used to be occupied by the landlord couple, and I felt they put a lot of effort into renovating it. The furniture is modern and clean, and you can choose between furnished, part-furnished, or unfurnished options if you wish.

- Great neighbours: There are plenty of delightful cafes/restaurants nearby, and strolling along the riverbank at night or running on weekends has been a little pleasure for our couple.

- Water bills are included in the rent. The only additional expenses you'll need to cover are electricity and internet costs. (This property does not have gas.)

- Underfloor heating and well-lit home: This property is located on the 3rd floor and enjoys good ventilation and sunlight. With underfloor heating, it's really warm in winter and pleasantly cool in summer. We used underfloor heating every day during winter and tended to use hot water quite generously, resulting in a fixed electricity bill of £130. This was because we didn't bother with separate meter readings (we were lazy 😅), so you could end up paying less.

- There is a resident-only paid parking available. Please inquire about the fees with the building management. (We did not use it.)

- Indoor smoking is not permitted, and there is a designated smoking area on the ground floor of the building.

- The paperwork will be done with the agent and the landlady, not with me.


It's stated on Rightmove that the property will be available for rent from June 10th, but my agent will soon update the date. The property is actually available for rent from 14th May, and my spouse and I are currently preparing to take a break from work and travel, so we're open to aligning with your moving date.

Full reference checks are essential, and full approval from the landlady is required. Please note that you need to have similar or better references than mine to be eligible for the contract. However, if you go through this process, a new home in London awaits you. :-)
