This has been our home for 8 years and we love it. I will be relocating to Glasgow for work from September and we’ve decided to rent the house out for an initial period of up to a year. With the possibility of extending if our move proves successful.
The house is on a managed estate with well tended to communal green spaces. The neighbours are lovely with a mix of new people and some who have been here since the houses were built in 1980.
The closest train station is Elmstead Woods (zone 4). I tend to take the 161 bus from the bottom of the street to Mottingham station (zone 4) as it works out quicker and train tends to be quieter. Both are around 18 mins to London Bridge or 28 mins to Charring Cross.
Bromley town centre is a 15 minute drive or the 314 bus takes about 20 minutes.
I’ve spent a long time working out the best travel routes into different parts of London so happy to answer any specific questions.
We’re looking to rent to a professional couple who will love living here as much as we have. We’ll be managing the letting ourselves privately but have family who live 40 minutes away if there are any emergencies.
