Room in a Shared Flat, Forth Street, G41

Seeking an occupant for a room for rent in a shared flat located in a beautiful tenement building in Pollockshields. You would share with my lovely flatmate, Joe. Joe is a young professional who has just graduated from Strathclyde so professionals are preferred for this property.

Transport links are ideal, the flat is within .1 miles of the Pollockshields East station, within a 10-minute walk to major bus stops to take you to the city centre or further south, and about a 15-minute walk away from the Shields Road Underground Station. There are many shops, cafes, parks, and some bars nearby. It's conveniently located near transport links, both to the city centre and Shawlands, the "heart" of the South Side with plenty of bars, pubs, shops, restaurants, bakeries, etc to keep you entertained.

The bedroom comes unfurnished with high intricately designed ceilings, original floorboards, a bright ceiling light fixture, a fireplace, a built-in glass cabinet, and a large walk-in closet/cupboard. The closet is just over 6 feet wide.

The bedroom closet has an organizer for hanging clothes as it didn't have a clothing rack installed, and the huge bay windows have navy blue black-out curtains. The room gets a lot of sun which is great for plants. I am happy to negotiate a strongly discounted price if you want to keep either or both of them for the room. I also have the desk/chair/clothing rack shown in the video which you can have for the room if you would like, or I can get rid of them.

In the flat, there is a living room, a kitchen, a bathroom, 2 large closets in the hall, and 2 bedrooms. The entirety of the flat originally came unfurnished but there's all the furniture you need in the shared spaces (living room and kitchen). The bathroom has a shower/tub, sink, and toilet. The kitchen includes plentiful counter and cabinet space, a gas hob and oven, a full-sized refrigerator, a new (< 6 months) washing machine, a kitchen table and chairs, and many plugs for other appliances you may wish to bring. The living room features a couch, coffee table, and a second dining table and chairs. 

You need to have a guarantor or proof of adequate salary and all the relevant references which will be vetted by the letting agents. Bills are not included in the rent price. £575 is the deposit. The flat is in band C for council tax.
