The coast is between 20 and 30 minutes by car, Aldeburgh, Orford. Southwold a bit further.  Glevering is in a very fortunate area for great pubs and restaurants to choose from including the local popular pub in Easton - a walk of 1.5miles or a quick bike ride.  Great biking area off main routes and if keen on sailing or golf then so much choice.
