You studio has been designed to be top-class rather than a run-of-the-mill and way above most rented studios. The whole building has been completely re-built on the inside. New wiring, new plumbing, new central heating, tons of insulation to keep you warm, double glazing and high-quality chrome fittings throughout. You’ll find at least six USB phone/tablet points built into the chrome sockets, all the downlighters are beautiful chrome too.

Your studio has modern low-profile blinds that you can adjust for sun-screening (Eastbourne is the sunniest place in the UK!), to be see-through or closed for night-time blackout.

Each one has its own thermostatic control, so you get to choose your own temperature plus there’s a special controller that avoids heat/energy wastage when there’s no-one in but allows you to put the system on boost whenever you need it. It’s under your control!

Over the top with insulating the walls, ceilings and roof to make sure that there’s none of that feeling of cold ‘coming off the walls’ at you. All windows are double glazed to keep the heat in and noise out too.

And for the ultimate in comfort, there are special air-ventilation units which trickle warmed and filtered fresh air into your Studio all the time. Clever technology extracts the warmth out of the stale air going out and transfers it to the incoming fresh air so there’s no cold draught. All you know is that your Studio always seems lovely and fresh and can’t get damp. When you are cooking the system kicks into high-speed to get rid of steam quickly too!

Automatic LED lights in all of the halls and stairways too. The first one comes on as you approach the Main Front door so you can see to find your keys and the key-hole. The hallway and stairs lights are always on low but they go to full brightness when they detect you and turn themselves back down when you’re gone.

There are cycle-racks available in the flood-lit back-yard too.

The whole building has been brought up to the latest fire-safety regulations with self-closing fire-doors and smoke and heat detectors in every studio and a fully interlinked alarm system (which is tested every week) to wake and alert you if the unthinkable should ever happen.
