We have a double-drive in front of our double-garage, a double parking bay right outside the house and more road parking adjacent to us. We are just 5 miles from the M4 with a regular rail link to Bath, Bristol, Swindon and London. The Chippenham to Bath bus service is just a 5 min walk away – which also services the town centre. There is also a Sainsbury’s Store, a Lidl’s, a Tesco Garage and a Co-op shop within short distances – plus three pubs within walking distance.
My name is Christina and I’ve been married to Dave for over 38 years and we live, along with our 32-year-old son Ritchie, at 14 Hazel Copse, Chippenham SN14 0PD. I work afternoons throughout the week - Dave works from home almost 24/7 so is usually there if and when needed. Ritchie is a reserve fireman so there may be the odd emergency call-out now and again! We have a pet-free home and would wish to keep it that way due to our family babysitting commitments. We have been renting rooms out since 2013.
We have one bedroom ready to rent straight away. The double bedroom comes with a double bed and furniture. The room also has a TV point and WiFi broadband connection.
Upstairs has a main bathroom with a bath/shower and this would be shared with a max of two others – as we have our own en suite bathroom. We also have a downstairs toilet, with an additional washstand, which can be used if and when necessary.
There is access to and use of the kitchen/utility room. This would include use of the cooking/storage facilities, washing machine, tumble dryer, freezer and fridge when required.Access to and use of the garden is also included. Our house has a strict no-smoking policy – but garden or garage can be used for this purpose if needed.
