Hello potential flatmate! My name is Amy, and I would like to introduce you to our cozy and welcoming home. Our family includes my partner, our adorable 1-year-old toddler, and our friendly and playful sighthound/lurcher. We are both professionals in the film industry, and although I recently experienced a setback due to work pausing from the Hollywood strikes, I am taking this opportunity to spend quality time with my daughter and prepare for when work picks up again later this year. As a result, we have decided to rent out our rooms.

We purchased this house in 2020 and are slowly redecorating it, focusing mainly on aesthetic improvements such as painting and recarpeting the hallway . Rest assured, these renovations will not cause any disruption to you. The kitchen is brand new, equipped with new Samsung appliances. The room available for rent has recently been painted, fully furnished, and even includes a mini fridge. Plus, it offers lovely views of the back field. Upstairs, we have a full bath and shower, and downstairs, there is a guest toilet.

Currently, we have a delightful young Japanese lady occupying the other room. She is very clean, respectful, and quiet. However, she may not be home often as she is only in the UK for a short while. So she is making the most of her time exploring London.

We are searching for a flatmate who is comfortable living with a baby. Our little one has a great temperament and sleeps soundly through the night. We hope to find someone who can help us maintain the peaceful haven we have created for ourselves. As a young family, we prefer someone who is not inclined towards excessive partying or making excessive noise. We take pride in keeping our home clean and tidy. Additionally, we love animals and are open to accepting your pet, as long as they get along well with our dog and are safe to be around our baby (she adores dogs!). However, we must apologize as our dog does not get along with cats.

Ideally, we would also prefer a flatmate who does not work from home during the day. However, we are open-minded and flexible, willing to discuss individual needs and make adjustments for the right person. Our typical routine involves retiring to our room by 8pm, which means the downstairs area and living room are available for your entertainment or if you wish to watch a movie on our projector. We have also arranged for a cleaner to come in once a month to deep clean the common areas.

Moreover, our home is situated in a beautiful area, surrounded by forests and fields. In fact, there is a park right in front of the house, complete with tennis courts and an outdoor gym. If you rely on public transportation, you'll be pleased to know that there is a bus stop just a 1-2 minute walk away, and it takes only 8 minutes to reach Hainault station (Central Line). From there, it's approximately a 40-minute journey to Oxford Circus.
