Room in a Shared House, Wolverstone Drive, BN1

Hey,

We're living in a three bedroom bungalow in Hollingdean. It’s a nice bright place with plenty of living space, a big bright lounge/diner, reasonable sized kitchen, shared bathroom and the usual luxuries, virgin TV, dishwasher, shower, gas central heating etc etc. There’s a fairly private garden out back, with a little greenhouse, and enough space for a small gathering, or just lounging in the sun.

The spare room has a queen sized bed (a mattress on a futon frame), a small chest of drawers, and a shelf and hanging rail (see photo’s). There is more furniture available, and we can also switch things around a bit if you have your own furniture. It's a nice bright room with direct access to the garden, and has been redecorated recently. This will obviously be your own private space, with the rest of the house will be shared by the three of us.

We're in a nice quiet road with amazing panoramic views looking East over Hanover and Bevendean right up to the Racecourse and Woodingdean. We get to see some amazing sunrises here, and you can see the sea too! There’s a train station literally three minutes down the road , and Lewes Road bus stops a couple of minutes further. There’s a local shop 5 mins away, and supermarkets 10 mins down the hill, and if you’re keen to walk, it’s about half an hour or so to get into town.

I’m Andy, and work a lot during the week managing a busy workshop. I seem to always be busy, and generally don't sit still for too long. I love riding bikes and tinkering in the garage, and an off the cuff adventure is right up my street. I like to have a bit of a chat when there’s someone around, but also like to disappear and be quiet at times, and can respect peoples privacy if that’s what they’d like too.

Chris is the other person you'll be sharing with. He's an architect, and possibly the most chilled out man you'll ever meet! He sometimes goes into the office to work, and sometimes works from home. We're both pretty 'normal', no dramas, just ticking along doing our thing. We keep the place nice and clean and tidy, and would expect anyone new to be similarly respectful of the house being a shared space.

This isn't just about filling a room to cover the bills, so we’re looking to meet a friendly, mature professional who's quiet, clean, tidy, and respectful, so that we can all get along and go about our lives with minimal fuss.
