This listed, former mill worker's cottage was built by the Strutts of Belper in the late 1700s. Set back from the road in a secluded row of cottages, it has been sympathetically modernised and includes a comfortable lounge, fitted kitchen with integrated oven (with spaces for a washing machine and fridge), and a double bedroom and bathroom.  

The cottage is small (lounge size 3.25m x 3.4m) and would be ideally suited to a single person but we would consider two in some circumstances. Due to it's location there is no allocated parking or garden, but there is on-street and public parking close by and parks and countryside within easy reach.

The centre of Belper is within 5 minutes walking distance, with access to supermarkets, pubs and bars, cafes, a lovely independent cinema and a new library. The train and bus station are both less than 10 minutes walk away, providing an easy commute into Derby, Nottingham, Leicester, Sheffield and further afield.

The cottage is in the heart of the UNESCO Derwent Valley Mills World Heritage Site in glorious Derbyshire. The location is ideal for the Peak District while Belper itself enjoys stunning local scenery and walks, excellent restaurants, regular farmers markets, food festivals, arts festivals, music festivals and many other community activities that make it a great place to live.
