We have a light and spacious double room available in Beckenham (South East) available immediately for £600/month + bills (approx £75/mo). This is a sublet until 22nd August with a lodger agreement. We would consider shorter terms as well! Would suit someone age 23-36, non-smokers only.
THE FLAT
This is a ground floor 3 bedroom flat with separate toilet and bathroom, large living area and dining space, good sized kitchen and large basement. We also have a huge flat garden which gets the sun nicely! Our contract is until 22nd August hence the term stated 😊 we think it’s likely we will move after this term, if we all get on then we can all look together ☺️
TRAVEL 🚂🚃
Clock House station is the closest (~5 min walk) and goes through Lewisham, London Bridge and Waterloo East to Charing Cross. Approx 25mins to London Bridge.
Next closest is Beckenham Junction (~9 min walk) which can get you to Victoria in around 20 mins.
We are also on the South London tram network with 2 nearby stations - Beckenham Junction and Beckenham Road.
There is a bus stop at the end of the road.
We also have a driveway.
Local shops - only a few minutes walk to Beckenham High Street, local butchers, bakers, Sainsburys, Lidl, Tesco express.
Entertainment - a few minutes walk from the Restaurants, Pubs, Bars & Cinema on Beckenham High Street.
ABOUT US
Currently residing in the house are Carrie and myself - we are a couple. Carrie works as a receptionist in a veterinary hospital and I am a full time Law student. In the other room is Charelle, a receptionist at a tattoo and piercing studio and awesome roller derby skater. Charelle is subletting Ben’s room, Ben moved to Germany to be in Starlight Express, and you would be subletting Seán’s room - he’s gone back to Ireland to be with his family but also works in musical theatre.
ACCESSIBILITY
The only stairs inside are to the basement, which is used for storage and our chest freezer. There are stone steps up to the front door and out to the garden at the back.
COVID19
Due to the coronavirus crisis we are willing to reasonably negotiate on the rent. We will also be conducting all viewings via video chat (Skype/FaceTime/WhatsApp). Only Carrie is still going out to work at the moment for a couple of days a week then works from home the rest of the week.
