(Please read fully before applying) Important notes/Special circumstances:
The main part of this development, built in 1852, was once a Vicarage. In 1982 it became a home for the aged and an extension was built. We bought the property in 2021 to turn the Vicarage part into our forever home. Therefore the building is undergoing some renovation & changes over the next few years. (Don't worry it will not be constant disruption) The changes include reinstating the original rooms to the Vicarage. 
As the main bathroom & rear bedroom of this Flat were originally part of the Vicarage this Flat will, in time, become a one bedroom property and the rent will then be reduced accordingly. The flat will be given a brand new bathroom before the current bathroom is removed. Therefore tenants will need to understand they will have a few weeks of disruption at some time in the future and access will be needed, however this is 12 months away at least and rent will be reduced during the disruption time.
As the flat is attached to our home it shares our drive and gardens and fire alarm system etc. Therefore we have a no pets policy (I have cat and dog allergies) and no smoking policy. (An outdoor smoking area can be created if required)
We have ongoing external improvement work and eventually we are hoping to create lovely gardens for all to enjoy. As we will be neighbours we are looking for long term tenants who will not just be tenants but hopefully become friends. We are a couple in our 50s and are very sociable but want a quiet, peaceful life. We currently have other long term tenants who are over 50s and, like us, are friendly and sociable, but quiet. So we are looking for tenants who will fit in well with our little development and enjoy it with us.
