In addition Berry's bus service from Wincanton offers direct buses twice daily to Hammersmith. Bruton is a small town with all essentials (doctor, pharmacy, several restaurants, antique and gift shops) A Morrisons supermarket is in Wincanton, or Waitrose in Gillingham. Lovely walking is outside the door or ten minutes away in Stourhead or Bruton forests.
