The main large room is easily screened for separate area uses. Broadband is available ( approx speed 2 mb) but some mobile networks are not.

Below the gallery there is a fully equipped kitchen ( built in cooker, hob, and dishwasher) with free-standing fridge freezer, a small utility lobby with plumbing for a washing machine and butler's sink, and a bathroom with bath and shower over. The kitchen opens directly into the garden through a stable door.

It is within easy cycling distance of Bruton, and approx fifteen minutes drive to Castle Cary ( mainline station to Paddington 2.5 hrs) or Gillingham ( mainline to Waterloo 2 hrs) both with regular service. In addition Berry's bus service from Wincanton offers direct buses twice daily to Hammersmith. Bruton is a small town with all essentials (doctor, pharmacy, several restaurants, antique and gift shops) A Morrisons supermarket is in Wincanton, or Waitrose in Gillingham. Lovely walking is outside the door or ten minutes away in Stourhead or Bruton forests.
