We currently have one single bedroom available in this large, light and airy four bedroom flat. Our current tenants are students/young professionals - the room is available now.
We have always had a great relationship with our tenants and we live about 2 minutes from the flat so are always on hand to sort out any issues very promptly. We have a great handyman who is able to fix things and for example when the oven broke last year we were able to pop around straight away, take a look and then replace it immediately.
The flat is situated just off Kingston Hill in the recently refurbished Cumberland House. It is on the 4th floor (with a lift) and on the corner of the block so is quite sheltered. There are staggering views over Kingston and Richmond Park. There is a small balcony with seats and room for a few garden pots! There is a visitor parking area.
Earlier this year all windows and doors were replaced with double glazed units. The kitchen has just been refurbished with a new fridge and tumble drier. The flat has been decorated and cleaned throughout after the last tenancy ended.
The location is very near Kingston Hospital and the University. There are great transport links (it is a 10 minute walk to Norbiton train station with regular trains into Waterloo) and is on a main bus route - straight into Kingston or further afield. There is a night bus to and from Central London. It is also possible to walk into Richmond Park (about 5 minutes away) and central Kingston (about 15 minutes away).
There is a row of shops just near the flat which is very useful - a small Londis and convenience store plus a dry cleaners/hairdressers and dress designer should you want their services! There is a great pub within a 5 minute walk called The Albert which does fab food and has an outside garden. There are plenty of other restaurants and bars within easy reach.
The flat is in good condition. There are wooden floors throughout. There is a modern bathroom and separate toilet room and kitchen which has a breakfast bar and stools in it.
