How this works.

If you are interested in the property make contact via the Openrent website, Arrange for a viewing.

If you are interested in the renting the property then pay £20 per person for a credit check. All potential tenants who will be on the rental agreement will be asked to complete a credit and reference check in their own right.

Credit checks can take upto 5 working days.  

If successful, pay the £200 holding deposit. (This will hold the house to allow you to complete the application). The £200 will be deducted from the first month’s rent.

Please note that if you withdraw from the application you will forfeit the holding deposit.

If all is ok then pay the deposit and first month’s rent (additionalsecurity payment may be payable depending on credit check outcomes)

Once all paid and move in date is agreed then you can move in on that date.

Please not you will not be given keys to the house until you have paid all costings due

So by using open rent you will avoid  having to pay agents fees which could cost up to £ 600.

Landlord pays for contracts; all you pay extra for is the credit check and reference check at £20 per person.
