Room in a Shared House, Galloway Road, W12

Hi everyone,

I’m really sad to leave this great house, but I am moving to Berlin for work in October. For the two remaining residents (a French and Dutch guy, my friends now as well) we are looking for another perfect match for this great house. They are very sociable guys, playing football, have mixed friend groups and both young-professionals working at big companies. We do a lot together (dinner, watching series, playing football, other sports occasionally, going out and having big breakfasts in the weekend) but give each other the space where someone wants it, which the house is great for.

The house is in a quiet street in Shepherd’s Bush with a street full of families and young-professionals. The people living here have a small community, we sometimes close the street off to arrange street-festivities and there is a facebook group where the neighborhood keeps each other informed. Shepherds Bush itself has a wide variety of great markets, groceries, restaurants and bars (including rooftops) all around the corner. We have a park at the end of the street, the QPR football stadium at 5 mins walk and multiple sport centres/swimming pools/gyms within 5 mins from the house. Westfield shopping centre is a 15 mins walk/3mins bus from the house.

The nearest bus stop is a one minute walk around the corner with busses going east and west from there. The nearest tube stations are Shepherds Bush Market (approx 10 minute walk/2mins by bus) and Shepherds Bush (15 minute walk/3mins by bus).

The house is a beautiful Victorian house (the whole street is) with three floors and a backyard garden. The living room, dining room and the kitchen are on the ground floor. The first floor consists of two rooms, a guestroom and a bathroom (including shower and toilet). The second floor is an en-suite room.

The kitchen is fully fitted, the dining room has a dining table where we eat together when we can, the living room has a TV where we watch series in the evenings normally. Our garden is really nice, having sun for a couple of hours per day (perfect for brunch) and we do BBQs when the weather is good.

The available room is a really spacious room on the first floor of the house. This room includes a wardrobe, a double bed, a storage box, bedside drawer and a work table. The room window looks to the backyard garden, you can get the morning sun but also use the blinders if you’d need to.

The rent is excluding council tax, water, gas, electricity, and the internet on top.
