Large double bedroom, facing the garden (nice and quiet). Furnished with double bed, large built in wardrobe, large chest of drawers, bedside table and blackout blind. Plenty of space for a desk etc.

I'm Pip and I live here too, so want a friendly housemate. I've lived in shared houses in London for 7 years, and am still friends with my old housemates, so I'm very easy to live with. I read English at Cambridge, and now work in advertising as a strategist. I love creativity and the arts - during half the week and most of the weekend, I'll be bouncing from the theatre, to a talk on robots, to dancing at daytime festivals, to art galleries, to yoga. Also trying and failing to write a novel.

The rest of the house:
I've just bought it so am still adding furniture and paintings. But there's no agency fees or horrible landlords and only a month's deposit needed. I live here too and will fix stuff immediately. It's ground floor and Victorian - gorgeous high ceilings.

The house has a shared living room with small sofa, a folding table for 2-6 people with two chairs (TV coming soon). A kitchen with a pastel blue Smeg fridge, hob, oven, microwave and washing machine. A giant bathroom with a shower/bath. A good size garden that is currently shared but I am splitting with a fence - perfect for bbqs and sunbathing. Storage cupboard in hall.

12 mins walk from Leyton tube or Leytonstone tube stations on Central line, with Leyton Midland Overground also nearby, so a good route to Liverpool Street or Oxford Circus. The area is gorgeous - right next to Francis Road for brunch, a deli, independent bookstore, and florists - super community focused and diverse. With Hackney Marshes & Olympic Park close for jogging and Westfield for shopping.
