Room in a Shared Flat, Sterling Gardens, SE14

Double room to rent in the coolest part of South East London with a sweary Irish gal who loves to bake Guinness cakes and banana bread and a social media nerd who works for a snack company. Basically, you're never going to be hungry living here.

We've got our own lives going on, but we won't say no to a couple of cans in the park after work on a sunny day, and we love a Netflix binge when we're in at weekends.

The room is decent sized with bed and a wardrobe, you could probably chuck in a twenty or so to keep the chest of drawers, but IKEA is close! Kitchen is fully equipped so don't worry about bringing up your pots and pans, although if you want to add to our novelty mug collection that's cool. Also, massive bonus, shower is electric, so no waiting around for it to heat up in the winter 😀

We're next to a massive Sainsburys, Lidl, Tesco, and Iceland which is handy. New Cross Gate has decent pubs with beer gardens, and the flat is in a residential part so it's quiet and safe. You're a short walk from Deptford where all the quirky indie restaurants are with their BYOB policies which is pretty cool, and you're 15 mins on the overground from Shoreditch and Greenwich if you want to stretch your legs outside of New Cross.

We both work in London, it's half an hour into central and trains are really frequent and run late, so no worries if you're an early riser or a night owl.
