A lovely open and light Victorian mews house, I fell in love with it immediately. The house is full of original character yet very modern and the garden is established and serene. I especially enjoy the roof terrace - such a wonderful place to hang out. It is a great house to come home to - especially in the summer when you can hang up the hammocks from the trellis in the garden :) The house, its garden and the roof terrace are havens from frantic London :)
There are original wooden floorboards, a modern kitchen (with large oven, washing machine, microwave and dishwasher) and separate dining room that has bi-fold doors onto the garden, large sitting room, large bright landing leading onto the roof terrace and three double bedrooms. There is also an office, large bathroom with bath and separate 'rain shower' and separate toilet downstairs.
Tottenham is vibrant, up and coming, and ever evolving. It is just a few minutes away from Tottenham Hotspur's football ground but you won't be disturbed by the crowds. Diverse, energising, with great pubs and transport, Tottenham is a London microcosm in and of itself. Locally you'll find supermarkets, a great leisure centre (with pool and gym) and pubs, including The Beehive with its lovely outdoor space. Bruce Grove Park with its historic castle is a short stroll away.
Tottenham is famed for its great transport links. The house is a 10 minute walk from Bruce Grove overland station. You get to Bruce Grove by taking the Victoria line from Kings Cross just three stops to Seven Sisters, changing to the Overland and going one stop - which should take around 10 minutes overall. There are also National Rail services as well as an interchange for the Stansted Express nearby (at Tottenham Hale). There are loads of buses at the end of the road (less than a minute away) which go to central London or even just to Seven Sisters, the closest tube station (Seven Sisters, Victoria Line). If you drive, the house is also very close to the North Circular.
