The house, in Meadow Road, Windermere, is a spacious four bedroomed property, shared by the owner and his wife and three tenants. The room we are advertising is the large downstairs room [as shown in the photos]. The house is in a secluded area, fifteen minutes walk from the villages of Windermere and Bowness, and the boat ferry service on Lake Windermere. There is a large back garden with views over the fells. Although very close to all amenities, shops, doctor and dental surgery, numerous pubs and restaurants, we are just far enough off the main roads and tourist track to be away from the seasonal bustling crowds. There is a local cinema and theatre. Our local supermarket is Booths, and there is a Sainsbury's and Tesco local as well as a Co-op. Kendal, just 20 minutes away by car, has a Morrisons, Asda and Aldi, as well as the Westmorland General Hospital. The property is well maintained. Suitable for single non-smoking person. We require a month' deposit and a month's rent in advance. And there is a minimum of three month's rental required. There is free internet access, use of a washing machine and a TV in the front lounge.
