Double room available in Two bed cottage for rent in Wallingford, Oxfordshire. The cottage is available MONDAY TO FRIDAY ONLY. The tenant will have the cottage to themselves during the week. The home owner is away during the week and will need property for the weekend. Unfortunately this would not suit anyone wanting to work from home full time.
Wallingford-Just a short stroll to the town centre. Wallingford is a small but bustling market town situated in South Oxfordshire, it has retained much of its historic architecture yet has good amenities for everyday needs. Within the town there is a regular market and farmers market, a Waitrose and Lidl supermarket and a host of small independent shops as well as banks, public houses, plenty of places to eat including restaurants and cafes. The Corn Exchange is the home of Wallingford's cinema and theatre, producing a wide variety of productions throughout the year.
Travel- The location is also perfect for anyone working in Reading , Oxford , Didcot and Abingdon, direct train back up to London from Goring (2miles away), also main bus stop X39 or X44, runs every 30mins, to Oxford or Reading train station in 20mins.
Parking- Free of street parking is available outside the property on St John’s Road.
Property has just been refurbished internally and bed will be provided for the double room.
Available 6th November 2024. Shorter lets would be considered, rent to be negotiated.
