About the Location 

Martindales is a quiet and small development of 48 dwellings situated off Blakes Farm Road, close to Southwater Country Park.  The Country Park extends to 42 acres, built on the site of the old brickworks, offering a selection of water sports, fishing and routes for the cyclist, horse rider or walker. There are three excellent schools within Southwater; Castleford Primary School, Southwater Infant School and Southwater Junior School.  

Lintott Square which is an approximately 20 minute walk from the property caters for everyday needs with a variety of shops, including a Co Op, dry cleaners, hairdressers and barbers, florist, cafe, solicitors, vets as well as Community Police Station, Doctors and Dentist and Library as well as two pub/restaurants.  

Further along from Lintott Square is the newly built Sports Pavilion complete with football and cricket pitches, tennis courts, skate park and Club house.   

About nearby Horsham
Horsham is an historic market town where the central roads are predominantly pedestrianised, offering a large selection of high street shops along West Street and a covered shopping mall.  There is a large selection of restaurants and cafes on East Street catering for most international tastes.  

To the North of the Carfax is Horsham Park containing numerous football pitches, tennis courts, and a modern swimming complex and a gymnastic centre with rugby and football clubs nearby.  There is excellent schooling catering for state and public/independent sectors.  The main schools are Millais (girls' comprehensive), Forest Boys (boys' comprehensive), Tanbridge House (mixed comprehensive), The College of Richard Collyer (sixth form), Christ's Hospital School, (public school), Farlington (independent mixed school).  

By road Horsham is 31 miles south west of London and 18 miles north west of Brighton being accessed via the A24 and M23/25.  

The main railway station in Horsham provides frequent services to London Victoria/Waterloo (55 minutes).  

The closest airports are within easy reach Gatwick (12 miles) London Heathrow (40 miles).
