There are three excellent schools within Southwater; Castleford Primary School, Southwater Infant School and Southwater Junior School.
Lintott Square which is an approximately 20 minute walk from the property caters for everyday needs with a variety of shops, including a Co Op, dry cleaners, hairdressers and barbers, florist, cafe, solicitors, vets as well as Community Police Station, Doctors and Dentist and Library as well as two pub/restaurants.
